General information

With the rapid development of urban modernization in China, the urban roadway lighting runs fast in recent years.In 2009, the Chinese government spends 4 trillion RMB in stimulating the domestic demands and the infrastructure construction. Urban lighting engineering has become more important, so the demand for lighting products rises accordingly, especially for street lighting. Meanwhile, the construction of the new countryside and new city also need road lamps, which makes the demand on streetlight soar.

As 2010 Shanghai Expo, Guangzhou Asian Games and Shenzhen Universiade are held in China, the national construction will keep stadiums, stations, airports,ports,plazas,communities and scenic zone increaseing by 16%. A planned 1200 billion investment at infrastructure is now increased to be 1800 billion, which put forward China outdoor lighting into a new century. The outdoor lighting industry is expected to exceed USD 5 billion by this year.

Shanghai, the largest city in China and a well-known port city in the world, plays a very important part in the development of China’s economy. It is located in the Forefront of Yangtze river delta, the northern boundary of the Yangtze River, east East China Sea, south of Hangzhou Bay, west of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. And it located in the center of the North and South coastline. Shanghai has a convenient transportation, large hinterland, superior geography, and a good port. With the upcoming World expo, Shanghai will share the fruitful harvest in road and outdoor lighting industry with the world next September.

2010 The Third Guangzhou International Road Lamp、Patio Lamp & Outdoor Lighting Fair ended successfully

The three-day show has been successfully held in Poly World Trade Center, under the joint support of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation and Guangzhou Grandeur Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.

This exhibition attracted 208 exhibitors including Zhongshan LED Industry Alliance Pavilion, Yangzhou City Lighting Industry Association Pavilion-the lamp manufacturing base in China -, Philips, Code Lighting, TTic, Taiwan Elsa, NATIONSTAR, Cled, Shanxi GYLED, MESES, Fuhua, Lucky Valley, Shenzhen MoSo, Taiwan Ming Wei etc, fully displaying the prospect of high-power LED streetlight utilization. Exhibition scope mainly includes high power LED street lamps, courtyard lights and their accessories. Products displayed fully embodies the advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection.

Along with the show, multiple activities were simultaneously held, such as technologies promotion, and exchange forum, where experts, professors and scholars in the industry gathered together to present their respective speeches. The activities supplied the best platform for professionals in the lighting industry.

According to statistics, with 12,000sqm exhibition area, the show has attracted nearly 18,000 visitors. Most of RLF2009 exhibitors were satisfied with it. They thought it’s a leading trade show in lighting industry and the best platform to display products and brand image. They will be continuously support RLF2010.

Visitors

1、The organizing committee has sent 120,000 fair tickets to those from Urban Management Bureau, in China‘s 3742 cities above the county level, Street Lighting management, Municipal Engineering Units, Landscape lighting companies, Developers and Agents. The estimated visitors will be reaching 12,000.

2、The country‘s 172 lamp decorating plazas will periodically put on promotion shows such as press release conferences, to publicize this exhibition. About 3.000 visitors will be estimated to arrive at the spot.

3、Over 150 professional related Websites, thirty-eight kinds of professional magazines, sixty kinds of various newspapers and many TV stations are promoting this big event. The estimated visitors, through this way of publicizing, will be reaching about 5,000.

4、The organizing committee will take part in activities hosted by the National Street Management, and promote the fair- related information.

5、The organizing committee will attend about 35 similar domestic and international exhibitions, and invite professional buyers to the spot.

6、The Hong Kong liaison office of the organizing committee will be responsible for inviting oversea buyers through the connection with chambers of commerce in the USA, German, France, Britain, Italy, Canada, Russia,　Korea, Belgium, Japan,Mexico,Hong Kong and Taiwan and other areas.
