Edison's September revenues will make a new record

Lately, Edison Opto had planed to be listed in Taiwan on September 10 but was delayed due to some reason. But Edison had noted that Lustrous lawsuit had little impact on the company's finances and operations.


In the August 31st of 2010, Lustrous Technology had filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Edison, and Edison had hired an professional patent attorney for the lawsuit.

Edison was focusing its business on LED lighting products. In the first half of 2010, its revenues reached NT$1.48 billion (US$147.14 million), increasing by 129.96% on year, and close to 90% of the overall revenues of NT$1.7 billion for 2009. Net profit was NT$313 million, increasing 165% on year, and EPS was NT$4.07.

August Revenues were NT$290 million, a record high. In the first eight months of 2010, totaled revenues had got NT$2.06 billion, up 107% on year. It is expected that Edison's revenues in September will reach a new record and exceed NT$300 million.
