Neo-Neon expected 2011 revenues in Taiwan would reach NT$20-30 million

In Taiwan, Neo-Neon was reported that it would introduce 14 new LED embedded lighting products in December. Recently, the company's own-brand LED light bulbs were distributed in retail outlets and hypermarkets and it expected LED lighting revenues in Taiwan would reach NT$20-30 million in 2011.


A leader of Neo-Neon noted, changing consumer behavior was a difficult problem in a short time, so the competition for LED market of logistics and cash flow, and business models must accommodate existing distribution channels. Meanwhile, LED lighting still required more market education as the energy saving benefits couldn’t be felt right away by consumers.

At present, US, Europe, China and Hong Kong were main market for Neo-Neon’ LED lightings, in which conventional and LED lighting would account for about 50% respectively in the company’s 2010 revenues.
