Philips Lighting’s U.S. branch has announced plans of investing US$ 2 million in a new LED manufacturing plant in Tupelo, Missouri, according to a WTVA report.

The investment is expected to add 50 new jobs to the 450 staffed plant.

According to another report by Biz Buzz Daily Journal, Philips will be relocating 50 production lines in U.S. to this new plant.
