Tired of checking watches and counting laps to check his training progress, Chip Beard, a certified USA Triathlon Fitness Level 1 Coach, has designed an underwater LED lighting system to assist swimmers.

Athletes can choose from various training workouts from their smartphones, which can be synced with the underwater lighting system. The 42 bright LEDs used in the system act as a coaching device to guide and pace swimmers. Using wireless transmissions, the smartphone will recommend the most suitable routine to users based on speed tests to determine the swimmer’s pace.
