Jesco LED has released its new DL-Flex-Up series, a flexible 3/8" X 1/8" X 12" PCB with high output, 110 degree or 65 degree LEDs in three color temperatures. The colors available include 3000K, 4100K, and 6000K white with an outstanding evenness of distribution. The strips are modular with flat mini-plugs eliminating in-field soldering, and special controllers that provide the designer the means to install these mini-light sources in the tightest locations.

esco LED, working closely with leading architects, interior designers, display and furniture designers, electrical engineers, and electrical contractors, has completed the new product design and manufacturing development of a new series of flexible, linear strips of LEDs. The DL-Flex-Up series offers the smallest plug-in LED strip available on the market today. Along with its modular design allowing sequences of individual strips to be electrically connected by plugging one into another, the design includes the ability to simply cut with scissors points, printed on the PCB, to allow shortened strips under shelves, in coves, and in signs or furnishings to create a tight fit. The unique mini-plugs eliminate the on-site soldering required by other types of LED product.
This new product in the Jesco LED (J-LED) DL series of LED lighting solutions is only 3/8" wide by 1/8" high. Each strip module is 12" in length. This is currently the smallest dimensional form on the market for strip lighting solutions. To meet many needs the double-sided tape backing of the PCB allows quick and easy tool-less installation of curved or angled mounting locations in architectural elements, shelves, cabinets, counters, furnishings, displays or signage needing to be lit. The high output LEDs used provide a perfectly even glow of light. For certain applications J-LED has developed an aluminum mounting extrusion with a snap-in slot for a safety or diffusion lens. The aluminum housing strip can also be installed with double sided tape, with the DL strip taped inside the housing.
The LED types available to the designer in DL-Flex-UP series strips include 3000K, 4100K and 6000K white, allowing perfect integration in spaces lit by incandescent, quartz halogen, linear and compact fluorescent, and metal halide lamps. Also available are red, blue, and green types which can be used as static colors, or with side by side layouts providing simple color switching. J-LED has also just released the newest part of this series, the DL-Flex-Up RGB series. A variety of effects can be created with both the static color DL-Flex-p strips and the RGB strips that can be controlled with J-LED RGB controllers for creative lighting effects.
