Recently, LED packaging company Bright LED Electronic has received LED tunnel lamp orders from China for lamps of 50W, 100W and 200W, according to sources, who estimate that the company will ship 8,000 unit starting from the third quarter, helping Bright LED achieve its annual LED street lamp shipment goal of 35,000 units.

According to industry sources, Everlight's products for street lamp applications have passed the two-year testing period with claims to a 50,000-hours lifespan. Everlight is also showing good progress in its LED street lamps business. The company is currently demonstrating its 8m and 10m LED street lamp for customers in northern China, and Everlight estimates it will begin volume shipments in the third quarter.
