It's reported that Asif Anwar, Director of the Strategy Analytics GaAs and Compound Technologies Service, will be presenting his paper, "LED Device and Material Market Trends," at the 5th China International Forum on Solid State Lighting conference on July 24 - 26, in Shenzhen, China. He will outline the market prospects for LEDs and highlight future substrate market trends that will have an impact on LED markets.
According to the arrangement, the presentation will review the development of the LED market and highlight the challenges and opportunities in key growth sectors such as solid state lighting. Looking through the supply chain towards substrate technology, the presentation will highlight potential penetration of native bulk substrates versus sapphire technology for nitride-based LEDs as well as providing projections for future wafer diameter trends in the industry.
