General information

LED has been broadly used in display units, urban landscaping and lighting fields. It is predicted that LED market will climb up to 10.6 billion USD in 2008, with 8.8 billion pieces of LED products. Thanks to the encouraging policy, Taiwan enterprises and many big international players actively invest LED industry in China. The output of five LED Chinese bases--Shanghai, Dalian, Nanchang, Xiamen and Shenzhen, is now in a large increase. China has become another international LED base following Japan, China Taiwan and South Korea.

To prepare the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, Shanghai World Expo 2010 and Guangzhou Asian Games 2010, major cities in China are all endeavoring to build up infrastructure projects, such as gymnasiums, transportation system and urban lighting projects etc. It will generate enormous opportunities to the development of LED industry. As a LED production base, China has attracted purchasers from all over the world. LED ASIA 2008 will no doubt draw world’s attention. Focusing on “Internationalization, Brand-orientation, Specialization”, LED ASIA 2008 is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors from home and abroad, covering a display area of 10, 000 sqm.

LED ASIA 2007 and China Sign Fair 2007 were successfully closed in November 2007 in Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center. Three-day shows attracted 25,206 trade visitors, among whom 15% were overseas buyers.
