It’s reported that Jameco Electronics has purchased a significant quantity of excess inventory of Lite-On brand LEDs. The inventory includes packaged LEDs of many varieties and LED-based numeric displays. It is reportedly being sold at a significant discount.
Due to the economy, electronics manufacturers are trying to balance their inventory levels. Jameco is agreed to acquire millions of pieces of inventory of Lite-On’s most popular LEDs with the goal of passing along significant savings to their customers, according to James Farrey, general manager of Jameco’s Excess Acquisition Division.
Jameco specializes in purchasing brand-name manufacturer-overrun inventory at deep discounts and typically prices it 30 to 50 percent below other electronic component distributors. Lite-On LED products are available for sale at www.Jameco.com/excess.
